Elina Kriticou, the co-founder and co-director of EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS, is a 2006 graduate of the University of Patras, Greece. Together with Kenzo Yamashita they founded, in 2009, EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS. Her inherent passion for Architecture and her need to enrich her knowledge and skills, lead her to Barcelona-Spain, after Greece and London. Since 2009 she has been one of the two Lead Architects of EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS. Elina carries with her a variant experience in masterplans, residential developments, commercial and refurbishment projects, both large scale and smaller ones, involvement in national and international architectural competitions as well as substantial knowledge and expertise in architectural rules and procedures. She has been invited as a lecturer in various events and along the EKKY won the Architectural State Prize in 2022. With the creation of EKKY STUDIO ARCHITECTS she has actualized her vision of practicing high quality, innovative architecture within the firm’s philosophy of serving people and their community.
